About PET

PET (Polyethylene Terephthalate) is a thermoplastic polyester with recycling code number 1. It is commonly found in beverage bottles.
PET needs to be dried before reprocessing because it absorbs moisture; high moisture content can reduce the quality of the processed material.
Recycled PET is commonly used for polyester fiber, strapping band, and sheet for non-food thermoforming. Suitability for a specific application depends on the material specification and your requirements, so please discuss it with our team first.
